Said recently that curiosity was a good trait to have.

  Waiting to pick Jason up in the parking lot of an auto repair place.

  Two guys pull up next to me in a truck.

  One gets out with a big thing of keys and a bottle of Windex.  Goes inside the repair place, comes back out with the dome of a gumball machine, half-filled with gumballs.

  Rummages around in the back of the truck.  Walks back in with the newly filled dome.  Comes out, leaves.

  How did he get into this business?  How did he land this account?  What is the arrangement with the repair shop owner?  How does he get new accounts?  How much money does each location make?

  Does he throw out the old gumballs?  What does he do with all the coins?  How come there were two guys in the truck?  How much territory do they cover?  How often do the machines break down?  Is theft a problem?
