Four Month Goals.

Yup.  You SHOULD have annual goals.  A five year plan.  A map for your entire life, if possible.

But my ‘go-to’ system is the Four Month Goal.

It’s a long enough time span to accomplish something meaningful.  Short enough to correct, adjust, modify according to the results you are getting.

If you create one year goals and get bogged down, or if it becomes clear you won’t reach them, you either have to suffer through the year, or abandon your plan.

Working with a shorter block (that’s still long enough to get something important done) is much more effective.
