Learning to Do Stuff
Learning to do new things is often HARDER than you expect.
You’ve decided that you’d like to learn to ride your nephew’s skateboard.
Try it a few times — and you’ll say, “Holy monkey! That’s harder than it looks!”
That’s the bad news.
There’s good news, though.
Any difficult skill, when attacked with PERSISTENT effort, eventually gives up its secrets.
If you can make it through the difficult initial phase, learning a new skill actually becomes EASIER than you expected!
