When to Rush

You have to be somewhere at 8:00 a.m.  It’s a twenty minute drive — and you have to park…so you should leave the house by 7:30.

However.  You don’t leave the house until almost 7:40.  So here’s what you do.  You RUSH.

Now, in order to get out of the house by 7:30, you should get up at 6:30.

Here’s my suggestion.  Rush EARLY.  Do your hustling between 6:30 and 7:00.  Then, at 7:00, start to slow down a bit.

Leave the house in a LEISURELY way, at 7:30.

Get it?  Do your rushing at the front end, not at the back end. Rush early. Not late.

Is the family in a rush on Sunday mornings, trying to make it to church on time?

Are you totally stressed at work, frantically rushing at the last minute – to meet a deadline?

Is getting everybody out the door to school and work a chaotic mess?

Why not rush WAY AHEAD of the deadline, the departure time…getting things in order, finishing early?
