Confidence: Danielle’s Story

Danielle started horseback riding at age eight. She had always been shy, but she loved horses. She took lessons. She learned all about the care and feeding of horses. She rode, a lot. She even competed. After a time, she began to earn recognition for her efforts. Even some awards.

It wasn’t Danielle’s style to brag about her accomplishments. Her friends, however, learned of her skill, and respected it.

Mom noticed that Danielle’s friends seemed to hold her in high regard. She noticed Danielle being different, too. More of a leader. She was still quiet, but was now much more assertive, more sure of herself.
