Why We Train for War.
After all…most people never have to defend themselves against a serious physical attack. And yet, there are a lot of things flying around out there that hurt, aren’t there? Disappointments, stress, fear, exposure to a rough and sometimes seemingly uncaring world…these cause wounds, too. Wounds that are often deeper and harder to heal than a punch in the nose.
So we train for war.
And the Warrior’s Way…a life committed to the pursuit of honor, courage, discipline, service to others, perseverance, teamwork…empowers us, frees us, in the face of the ‘social cruelties,’ in the face of adversity…to win out. To live peacefully, and without fear – to live free…
